The University of Albany (UAlbany) itself was started in 1844 and, through various reforms and changes, came under the SUNY. Over the past 178 years, UAlbany has grown immensely and is spread across one large campus spanning 1,421 acres and two others. This environment provides students with a plethora of options, whether this is through educational fields, student organisations, recreational facilities, etc. The school is home to experienced faculty and has a modern infrastructure for medical, law, and graduate courses.
